Quality Engineer Specialist

Role Overview: Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Savli, Gujarat, India. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to manufacturing quality control, including auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs against defined standards. You will also be involved in testing random samples of finished goods and reporting any deviations or defects to ensure high-quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for learning and onboarding in various programs and functions across the organization in 3-6 month spells to accelerate growth and progression. - Shadowing and working with individuals within various organizational roles to learn complex skills and inner company comprehension. - Coordinating activities during internal and external audits. - Learning incoming and final product certification processes and preparing monthly product quality data. - Monitoring and maintaining quality records such as traceability and calibration. - Analyzing issues and their resolution with structured processes. - Demonstrating a high technical comprehension and ability to innovate and improve processes. - Maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, showing leadership skills. - Showing comprehension of core values of safety and integrity and taking responsibility where applicable. - Hands-on experience with SAP QM system, Quality Tools, Power Bi, MS Office, etc. Qualification Required: - BE in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Core quality experience in fabrication, automotive, or high-voltage industry. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
