Role & responsibilities

• Carry out

  incoming, in-process, and final inspection

  of sheet metal and plastic components.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
• Use measuring instruments (Vernier, Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM, etc.) for precision checks.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintain records, and support internal audits.
• Conduct rejection analysis, root cause identification, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support

  ISO 9001 / IATF 16949

  quality system requirements.
• Coordinate with production, suppliers, and customers for quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality processes and reduce rejections.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering OR ITI with relevant experience.
• 26 years of quality control/quality assurance experience in

  sheet metal & plastic component manufacturing

  .
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of quality tools (PPAP, APQP, 7QC Tools, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.).
• Exposure to

  ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 systems

  preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
