Quality Engineer

As a QA/QC Engineer at the construction site in Parbhani, Maharashtra, your role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Checklists. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, and chemicals, as well as in-process and finished works to ensure compliance with specifications. Additionally, you will carry out or supervise tests including concrete (slump, cube), soil, aggregate quality, and compaction, coordinating with testing labs as required. Your key responsibilities include monitoring workmanship on site, ensuring execution aligns with drawings and specifications, identifying non-conforming work or materials, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and tracking corrective/preventive actions to closure. It will be essential to maintain records and documentation, conduct site audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations, and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to meet quality requirements. Your role will also involve analyzing quality trends, rework, defects, and suggesting improvements to processes and practices. You will assist in pre-handover and punch-list inspections, supporting continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail, observation skills, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, good communication skills, problem-solving capability, and proactive identification of quality risks are essential for this role. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or a Diploma with substantial QA/QC experience. Familiarity with Indian standards and codes, drawings, method statements, and inspection & test plans is essential. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will need to be able to work on-site, sometimes in adverse conditions, and handle pressure effectively. The salary for this position will be based on your current salary.
