Position Title: QA/QC Engineer – Construction Site (Minimum 2 Years Experience) Location: PARBHANI , MAHARASHTRA Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or Diploma with substantial QA/QC experience. Familiarity with Indian standards and codes (e.g. IS codes), drawings, method statements, inspection & test plans. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Checklists. Inspect incoming materials (cement, steel, aggregates, chemicals), in-process works and finished works for compliance with specifications. Carry out / supervise required tests: concrete (slump, cube), soil, aggregate quality, compaction etc. Coordinate with testing labs. Monitor workmanship on site: formwork, reinforcement, concreting, finishes, waterproofing etc. Ensure execution is per drawings & specifications. Identify non-conforming work or materials, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track corrective/preventive actions and ensure closure. Maintain records and documentation: test reports, material certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, as-built drawings. Conduct site audits / walkthroughs to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety / regulatory codes. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers to ensure quality requirements are understood and met. Analyse quality trends, rework, defects; suggest improvements to processes/practices. Assist in pre-handover / punch-list inspections; support continuous improvement. Skills & Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, observation skills. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents. Good communication (written & verbal), able to prepare reports and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
