Quality Engineer - Full Stack

Primary Skills:

UI Automation(Java Selenium, TestNG/Jest, Cucumber/BDD), API Automation(Postman, Rest Assured).Core Java , Sql DBs , Secondary Skills: Jenkins, CICD pipelines, Performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner, Agile, JIRA, JavaScript and/or Python.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks and scripts for both UI and API testing.Implement and execute UI automation tests using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/Jest, and Cucumber/BDD methodologies.Develop and maintain API automation tests using tools like Postman and Rest Assured to ensure the integrity and performance of our backend services.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Core Java for automation scripts and tools.Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture, new features, and identify optimal test strategies.Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to enable continuous testing and delivery.Contribute to the enhancement of our CI/CD processes to achieve faster feedback loops and improved software quality.Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter and/or LoadRunner to identify bottlenecks and ensure application scalability.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous process improvement.Utilize JIRA for defect tracking, test case management, and overall project visibility.Proactively identify, analyze, and report defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge to foster a culture of quality.
