Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct
incoming, in-process, and final inspections
of mechanical, electrical, and control components used in elevators and lifts.
Implement and monitor
quality control plans, checklists, and testing procedures
as per company and industry standards (e.g., IS, EN, or ISO).
Identify, analyze, and document
non-conformities
; coordinate
root cause analysis
and implement
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
.
Support
vendor quality assurance
through audits, supplier evaluation, and component approval processes.
Collaborate with design, production, and service teams to ensure
compliance with safety and performance standards
.
Maintain and update
quality documentation
, inspection reports, and calibration records.
Participate in
internal and external quality audits
(ISO 9001, safety audits, etc.).
Contribute to
continuous improvement initiatives
using tools such as
5 Why, Pareto Analysis, and FMEA
.
Monitor field feedback and assist in resolving
quality-related issues during installation and maintenance
.

Preferred candidate profile

Exposure to
installation & commissioning quality checks
.
Knowledge of
statistical process control (SPC)
and
Lean/Six Sigma tools
.
Experience with
customer complaint handling and closure
.
