Job Description

Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Establish, implement, and maintain QMS processes.
Prepare and control quality documentation such as ITPs and test procedures.
Attend project kick-off and vendor pre-inspection meetings.
Review project specifications to ensure compliance with client and international standards.
Coordinate inspections with client representatives and third-party agencies.
Ensure inspection activities follow approved ITPs.
Oversee E&I activities during construction, assembly, and testing.
Conduct material inspections, review MTCs, and ensure traceability.
Lead quality activities related to installation, termination, and testing.
Review technical drawings and documents for inspection planning.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform IFAT/FAT inspections, record punch lists, and ensure closure.
Maintain quality records as per MRB requirements.
Support continual improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Technical Competence:

Familiarity with ISO, NFPA, NEC, IEC, ISA, IEEE, IES standards.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation inspections.
Skilled in loop checking, cable glanding, termination, megger testing, etc.
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.

Experience:

Proven experience in a quality function within a manufacturing environment in the oil & gas sector.
Preferably with
Saudi Aramco
inspection experience and familiarity with their specifications.
Experience in
modular skid package
manufacturing is a plus.
