Job Description

A quality controller, also known as a quality control inspector, ensures products or services meet established quality standards and specifications. They inspect, test, and verify items throughout the production process, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions. This role is vital for maintaining consistency, adhering to quality assurance protocols, and preventing defective products from reaching customers. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Testing: Performing visual inspections, measurements, and tests on products at various stages of production (incoming materials, in-process, final). Quality Standards Compliance: Verifying that products meet specified quality standards, tolerances, and performance criteria. Defect Identification: Identifying and documenting defects, deviations, or non-conformities. Corrective Actions: Recommending and implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues. Documentation and Reporting: Recording and reporting inspection and test data, documenting defects, and preparing reports. Equipment Operation: Operating testing equipment, ensuring its accuracy and reliability. Collaboration: Working with production teams and other stakeholders to address quality issues. Process Improvement: Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Essential Skills: Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for identifying defects. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and pinpoint root causes of defects. Problem-Solving: Ability to develop and implement corrective actions.
