Quality Control Associate

Role Overview: You will be responsible for drafting SOPs, test methods, specifications, and protocols applicable to the QC group. Implementing and conducting test methods for various materials used in the production of GMP nanomedicines will be a key part of your role. You will lead QC sample handling and management, oversee reference standards, coordinate sample shipments, and conduct review and trend data when applicable. Additionally, you will mentor and train other QC personnel and perform various other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities: - Draft SOPs, test methods, specifications, and protocols applicable to the QC group - Implement and conduct test methods for raw materials, lipid excipients, RNA-based APIs, lipid nanoparticle formulations, and other materials used in GMP nanomedicines production - Complete equipment onboarding processes for QC equipment - Lead QC sample handling and management, oversee reference standards, and coordinate sample shipments - Conduct review and trend data, mentor and train other QC personnel, and perform other assigned duties Qualifications Required: - Minimum BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences or relevant field with at least 2 years of industry experience in Quality Control or Analytical Development in a GMP regulated environment - Experience with testing and characterization of lipid nanoparticles preferred - Experience using a range of analytical equipment including HPLC / UPLC, CE, GC, DLS particle sizer, plate reader, UV/vis, pH meter, osmometer, Karl Fischer, etc. an asset - Strong technical writing skills required - Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, and a great teammate with good communication, organizational, and time-management skills - Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and work independently - Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and a self-motivated work ethic Additional Company Details: Precision NanoSystems Inc., part of Pall Corporation, is a biotechnology company focused on creating innovative solutions for the discovery, development, and manufacture of novel nanoparticles for medical research.
