Responsibilities: Conduct detailed inspections of fine jewelry to ensure conformity to quality standards in terms of setting, polishing, metalwork, and gemstone placement. Use precision tools such as loupes, calipers, and microscopes to verify accuracy of stone setting and craftsmanship. Collaborate with the production and design teams to address recurring quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed QC reports and track defect rates to improve future processes. Key Achievements: Reduced product return rate by 25% through improved quality check procedures. Created a standardized defect classification system adopted by three departments.
