Position Summary:

The QA/QC Officer will ensure that chemical manufacturing processes and products meet established quality standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality tests, and supporting compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

  1. Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
  2. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry standards.
  3. Participate in internal audits and prepare detailed reports of findings.
  4. Monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in production.
  5. Support the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).

Quality Control (QC):

  1. Perform routine sampling, analysis, and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using standard laboratory techniques.
  2. Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare quality control documentation.
  3. Identify and report deviations or non-conformities to the QA/QC Manager.
  4. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as per established protocols.
  5. Assist in developing and validating testing methods.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure proper documentation and data integrity in QA/QC activities.
  2. Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements in chemical testing methodologies.
  3. Participate in training sessions on quality management systems (QMS) and safety protocols.
  4. Support efforts to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Education: Master or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant internship experience.
  3. Skills:

    • Basic understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.
    • Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes is a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Role & responsibilities
