Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

with a strong background in both

manual and automation testing

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in scripting, test automation frameworks, and software testing methodologies, ensuring the highest quality standards for software development.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
manual and automation testing
for software applications, ensuring high quality and performance.

Develop, execute, and maintain
test automation scripts
using
Python, Selenium, and Behave
.

Utilize testing tools and techniques such as
UFT, Spock, LoadRunner, and JMeter
to validate application functionality and performance.

Conduct
API testing
, including
manual and automation testing
of REST APIs.

Work with
CI/CD pipelines
using tools like
Jenkins and GIT
for test automation and deployment processes.

Execute SQL queries and validate data integrity within
Oracle and MySQL databases
.

Perform
Unix batch job testing
and work with
basic Linux commands
for troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
onshore and offshore engineering teams
, to drive quality and efficiency.

Ensure best practices in Agile testing methodologies, risk mitigation, and test automation strategies.

Monitor software quality metrics such as
code coverage, defect density, and production defects
to drive continuous improvement.

Work in an
AWS cloud environment
to ensure seamless testing and deployment.

Support
non-functional testing
, including
performance testing using JMeter
and
security testing
.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years
of hands-on experience in the
software testing industry
.

2+ years
of hands-on experience in
manual testing
.

4+ years
of experience in
test automation
using any programming language (Python preferred or willingness to learn).

Strong experience in
Behavior-driven development (BDD)
frameworks like
Behave
.

Expertise in
test automation frameworks
such as
Selenium, UFT, and JMeter
.

Familiarity with
AWS cloud environments
and modern
CI/CD practices
.

Strong knowledge of
QA methodologies, tools, and processes
.

Experience working in
Agile
development teams and globally distributed teams.

Experience with
relational databases
and transaction systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a
results-driven mindset
.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
performance testing
using
JMeter
.

Exposure to
security testing methodologies
.

Experience in
Unix/Linux environments
.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on
continuous improvement
