Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

You are a self-motivated QA/Testing professional sought to join our growing engineering team. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality of our software projects, focusing on testing end-to-end solutions or products involving web applications, mobile applications, third-party integrations, and a mix of traditional and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. Experience in an early-stage startup or fast-paced environment is preferred. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, conducting various types of testing (functional, regression, performance, and automated), reporting and tracking defects, and maintaining test documentation (plan, cases, scripts, and reports). You will also ensure quality standards and guidelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize testing tools effectively, and mentor junior testers. Key Requirements: - 2-5 years of experience in both automation and manual testing. - Proficiency with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and scripting languages (TypeScript, JavaScript). - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter. - Strong knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA. - Solid understanding of databases (SQL, MongoDB) with SQL querying skills. - Experience in testing end-to-end solutions or products involving web, mobile, and third-party integrations. - Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. - Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. Good To Have: - Familiarity with programming and scripting languages like Java, Python. - Knowledge of application security and penetration testing. - Experience with AWS or other cloud services. - Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab. - Prior experience with US-based Healthcare projects (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7). - Relevant certifications such as ISTQB.
