Quality Assurance Specialist

As a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience, your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications. - Performing manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure testability of new features and enhancements. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PHPUnit, JMeter). - Conducting regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. - Working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes. - Ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle. - Staying up-to-date with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and technologies. The qualifications required for this role are: - Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with manual testing and test case management. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PHPUnit, Postman). - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps). - Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
