Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed quality checks and inspections of jewelry craftsmanship at various stages of production to ensure adherence to required standards. Evaluate the quality of precious metals and gemstones used in jewelry making. Work closely with the smith teams to identify and rectify defects in jewelry items. Ensure that the final products meet the design specifications and quality standards before they are dispatched to our showrooms. Maintain accurate records of quality checks, issues identified, and corrective actions taken. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and production processes. Stay updated with the latest trends in jewelry making and quality assurance practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Quality Checker in the jewelry industry, specifically in a goldsmithing environment. Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, and production techniques. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects in jewelry items. Good communication skills to effectively work with the production team and provide constructive feedback. Ability to work independently and make decisions related to product quality. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in gemology or jewelry manufacturing is a plus.
