Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview: As a QA Tester, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile (iOS and Android) and web-based trading/FinTech applications. You will perform various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial data and trade flows. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements. - Conduct manual testing of mobile (iOS and Android) and web-based trading/FinTech applications. - Perform functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Work closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects. - Verify trade execution, order matching, portfolio management, risk, and settlement functionalities. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. - Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements to enhance product quality. - Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with internal or external stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Strong understanding of trading workflows (order lifecycle, execution, settlement, etc.). - Experience testing Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) and Web applications. - Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. - Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools (basic level desirable). - Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify edge cases. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
