Quality Assurance Engineer

• Position Summary:

  We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in testing and validation. Having knowledge in the HCM domain. Like Talent, Recruitment, and Employee Management modules are highly preferred. Additionally, at least 1+ years ofPython codingexperience is required. The ideal candidate will work as part of across-functionalteam to qualifynew implementations, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and contribute tosoftware qualityimprovements.

Job Responsibilities:

Testing and Validation:

• Act as the primary QA responsible for testing and qualifyingnew implementations.
• Verify and validate implementation requirements for new customers based on gathered requirements and enhancements.
• Ensure the Phenom platform complies with customer use cases and software requirements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the QA Lead to document the scope of work from the discovery workbook (customer requirements).
• Develop and executetest plansbased on the scope of work criteria.
• Identify and capture bugs in thebug trackingdatabase (e.g.,JIRA).

Test Development and Execution:

• Develop higher complexity test cases and select appropriatetest suites.
• Executetesting activities, including negative and backward compatibility scenarios, for customer software releases.
• Perform troubleshooting andtriagingof issues with different teams to drive root cause identification and resolution.

Automationand Process Improvement:

• Executeautomated testsand analyze results to validate software functionality.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in software product development and processes.
• Champion the implementation of best practices across QA activities.

Project Management:

• Independently manage schedules for assigned projects and deliverables.
• Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on time and not on the critical path.

Job Requirements:

Domain Expertise:

• Knowledge in the HCM domain, particularly in Talent, Recruitment, and Employee Management modules, are highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• At least 1+ years ofPython codingexperience.
• Knowledge ofSOAPand REST Web Services is a plus.
• Programming skills, including basicSQL,XML,web development, and web services, are advantageous.
• Good to have experience withApache Nifior otherETL-baseddata integrationtools.

Automation Skills:

• Hands-on experiencewithtest automation toolsand frameworks.
• Ability to executeautomated testsand validate results effectively.

Soft Skills:

• A great team player with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills forcross-functionalcollaboration.
