Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, your primary role will be to ensure high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, and reporting. You will be responsible for both automated and manual testing, with a focus on Playwright automation framework, REST API testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for defect resolution and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or equivalent frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer. - Conduct manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles. - Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, Newman, or similar. - Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports to achieve comprehensive coverage. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and address defects early in the development cycle. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to QA strategy, and advocate for best testing practices. - Assist in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enhance test pipelines for continuous improvement. - Ensure all test documentation is current and aligned with project requirements. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in software testing, encompassing both automation and manual testing. - Proficiency in Playwright or similar automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer). - Strong expertise in REST API testing (e.g., Postman). - Sound understanding of test design techniques, SDLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Exposure to AWS infrastructure. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and documentation capabilities.
