Quality Assurance Engineer

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality professional with hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015 implementation. The role focuses on ensuring process compliance, driving continual improvement, and handling customer quality issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through regular supplier audits and quality assessments.
• Ensure that all incoming materials and components meet the required specifications through sampling, testing, and quality inspections.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
• Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving for process and product issues.
• Handle customer complaints, ensure quick response, and maintain related documentation.
• Support inspection activities and operate CMM / other measuring instruments as backup when needed.
• Ensure the organizations QMS is compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards and effectively implemented across all departments.
• Ensure document control procedures are followed, including maintaining records of audits, inspections, CAPA actions, and other quality-related activities
• Provide training to production and engineering staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Engineering in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, auditing practices, and process control.
• Proficiency in quality tools – 8D, RCA, FMEA, CAPA, SPC, and MSA.
• Familiarity with CMM operation and other precision inspection equipment is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives and drive process improvements.
