Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2-5 years Salary: Competitive (Based on experience) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Chennai . The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications, including loading tools and fixtures. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files. Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures onto CNC machines. Adjust tools and machines as needed for proper operations. Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure accurate and efficient production. Accurately record setup procedures, tool changes, and production data. Check machined parts with precision tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, pin and slip gauges) to ensure they meet specifications Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to improve production and quality. Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to keep them working properly. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Document setup procedures, tool changes, and production data accurately. Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field is preferred. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining. Proficiency in setting up and operating Brother CNC milling machines. Knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and machining instructions. Knowledge of tooling and fixtures used in CNC milling operations. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. Good English communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle tools and stand for long periods.
