Roles and Responsibilities:

• Possess

  excellent practical knowledge of programming and test automation tools

  (Selenium, Java, TestNG & Cucumber).
• Ability to

  create automation frameworks from scratch

  .
• Good knowledge of

  SAAS products

  along with deep knowledge of

  microservices and Kafka log reading

  .
• Practical knowledge of

  testing APIs with Postman Tools and SOAP UI

  .
• Experience with

  testing Rest Assured APIs

  .

• Hands-on experience in Java with good logic and coding skills

  .

• Document defects/bugs and enhancement requests

  , and assist development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of problems found during manual functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Experience with

  testing Web, Desktop applications, Databases, Web APIs and services

  , and hands-on experience in

  Black Box Testing

  .
• Perform

  test analysis on assigned user stories

  , review acceptance criteria, and contribute to the completeness of user stories in collaboration with the product owner.
• Assist with

  troubleshooting production-level issues

  , behaviors, and potential problems/defects.
• Experience managing

  multiple environments (QA env and production sanity)

  with the help of automation scripts.
• Take complete responsibility/accountability for assigned work/tasks/jobs and

  follow testing standards and policies

  set by the team.
• Assist fellow agile team members and customers with

  problem reporting and resolution

  , maintaining appropriate follow-up & communications throughout the defect resolution process.
• Contribute to

  QA Story points estimation and test scheduling process

  .
• Create

  high-level test flows/procedures

  with clearly defined test objectives.
• Work closely with the development staff to ensure that

  issues/defects are dealt with in a timely manner

  .
• Participate in all

  SCRUM events

  , including Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, daily stand-up, and Sprint Review.
• Participate in

  Deployment Testing exercises

  as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree

  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience

  in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.

• Strong proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts

  using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.).

• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

  .

• Expertise with tools like JIRA

  for Defect / Test Management.
• Experience with scripting languages such as

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  .
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  (e.g., Git) and

  continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

  .

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  with keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

  to work effectively within a team and across departments.
