Quality Assurance Engineer- Automation

Role Overview: As a Quality Analyst (Manual Automation) in Delhi (Work from Office), your primary responsibility is to collaborate with the development team in creating test plans and strategies for software projects. You will play a crucial role in developing test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on software requirements and user stories. Your tasks will involve executing both manual and automated tests, identifying and tracking software defects, carrying out regression testing, and performing performance testing to ensure that quality standards are met. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks, engage with stakeholders, recognize opportunities for process improvement, and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans and results. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the development team to create test plans and strategies. - Develop test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on software requirements. - Execute manual and/or automated tests to identify defects and verify functionality. - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. - Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not introduce defects. - Conduct performance testing to meet performance requirements. - Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with requirements. - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices. - Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, cases, and results. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc(CS)). - Master's degree is a plus.
