Quality Assurance Engineer Automation (Advanced)

As a QA Automation Engineer at Webito Infotech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of complex web applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications. - Writing and executing test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. - Performing API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality goals. - Conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Analyzing and reporting defects with clear documentation and logs. - Contributing to the creation of test plans, test strategies, and QA documentation. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing. - Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver (Java, Python, or JavaScript). - Solid understanding of OOP principles, test automation patterns, and framework design. - Experience in API testing and working with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git). - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave), knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling), experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure), exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes, and ISTQB certification or equivalent.
