Quality Assurance Engineer

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of IT products, supporting integration and deployment, and collaborating with product stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating tests, testing large modules or components, and developing test automation scripts. You will contribute to the immediate team and across product teams, ensuring new development does not introduce regressions and leading software quality engineering discussions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution:

  Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. You will develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for web applications, and design and create detailed, well-structured test cases.

• Manual & Automated Testing:

  Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing. You will also develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using tools like

  Selenium, Cypress

  , or similar, ensuring they are run regularly and results are reported and analyzed.

• Performance & Defect Management:

  Conduct performance and load testing to ensure web applications can handle expected user loads. You will identify, document, and track bugs using a bug tracking system like

  JIRA

  or similar, and work closely with developers to verify fixes.

• Process Improvement:

  Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools, and continuously improve the

  QA

  processes used by the team.

Technical Skills

• Experience in modern web application testing and automation.
• Experience with

  DevOps, Continuous Integration

  , and

  Continuous Delivery

  methodology is preferred.
• Experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems like

  JIRA

  .
• Experience in testing

  Rest web services

  is a plus.

• Jira Align

  and

  Miro

  experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree with a minimum of three years of Information Systems experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of Information Systems experience.
• Any certification relevant to job responsibilities is preferred.
