Quality Assurance Automation Lead - Web & Mobile App Testing

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for defining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product. You will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon. It will be your responsibility to make the QA team aware of the Quality matrix and resolve all their queries. Creating a list of milestones and checkpoints with measurable criteria to check the quality on a timely basis will also fall under your purview. Your role will involve defining processes for the test plan and various phases of the testing cycle. You will be tasked with planning and scheduling several milestones and tasks such as alpha and beta testing. Ensuring that all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking will be crucial. You will need to work closely on the deadlines of the project and lead the team in focusing on automation alongside manual testing. A key aspect of your role will be to continuously raise the bar and standards of all quality processes with every project. Setting processes for test plan reviews and ensuring that test plans are reviewed by all stakeholders will be a part of your responsibilities. You will also review test strategies and ensure that various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, and acceptance are adequately covered. Setting up goals and objectives for QA Engineers will be essential in this position. Desirable Attributes: - Hands-on experience in Automation, API, and Manual testing in Web and Mobile platforms. - Pro-active in managing test dependencies, coordinating test coverage and execution. - Defining and advising on test scope, approach, risks, and assumptions across DevOps and agile testing. - Proven track record of strategizing and evolving testing strategies. - Management of the roadmap for web and mobile products (Android/iOS) products. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Participating in the entire lifecycle of projects from requirement gathering to UAT sign-off. - Defining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics. - Experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors as a part of product buildout. - Strong team building and people management skills are a must.,
