Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting Automation Testing using Playwright and TypeScript for web applications. Your role will involve working closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure high-quality deliverables through automated testing processes. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in root cause analysis for critical defects and production issues. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance to perform Web Automation Testing using TypeScript & Playwright - Hands-on experience with testing tools like Playwright and TypeScript - Demonstrate good knowledge of HTTP methods, JSON, XML request/responses, and authentication types such as JWT - Showcase strong programming/scripting skills in Java Script or similar technologies - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab to maintain the testing framework - Schedule and execute automated test suites regularly, analyze results, and generate reports - Collaborate with the team to identify root causes of critical defects and production issues - Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field Additional Company Details: The company is a global digital solutions and technology consulting firm headquartered in Mumbai, India.
