Quality Assurance Analyst

You will be working as a Freelance QA Tester at Flynaut LLC, a prominent digital innovation agency specializing in mobile apps, websites, and web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our digital products maintain the highest quality standards through meticulous testing procedures. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills to collaborate efficiently with our development and project management teams. Your key responsibilities will include: Mobile App Testing: - Thorough testing on Android and iOS platforms. - Ensuring cross-device compatibility and optimal performance across diverse mobile devices and OS versions. Website & Web App Testing: - Testing website functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. - Validating web applications for performance, security, and user-friendliness. UI & UX Testing: - Evaluating user interfaces to guarantee alignment with design specifications and deliver a smooth user experience. - Identifying and reporting UI/UX inconsistencies while recommending improvements. Functional & Integration Testing: - Executing functional tests to confirm proper feature functionality. - Conducting integration tests to validate interactions between different modules and systems. Test Case Execution & Scenario Testing: - Crafting and implementing positive and negative test scenarios covering all edge cases. - Ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all functionalities. Defect Tracking & Reporting: - Identifying, documenting, and monitoring bugs using defect sheets and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. - Providing detailed and concise defect reports for the development team. Team Coordination & Communication: - Collaborating closely with development and project management teams to grasp requirements and exchange testing feedback. - Participating in regular meetings to provide progress updates on testing and address any issues. Requirements for this role include: - 2 years of experience in QA. - Proficiency with Cypress or Playwright for API/e2e automation. - Experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman. - Strong grasp of manual testing principles and test documentation. - Knowledge of Cucumber and Gherkin syntax for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools like JIRA. - Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Ability to interpret and comprehend API documentation like Swagger/OpenAPI.,
