Quality Analyst - Web & Mobile App Testing

You are an experienced Quality Analyst with 2-5 years of relevant experience in both manual and automation testing. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing detailed test cases and test plans for functional and regression testing. You will conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Your responsibilities include implementing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts using industry-standard tools. You will identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla. Performance testing and analysis of results to ensure scalability and responsiveness of applications will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage is essential. You will participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Timely and accurate reporting of testing progress, results, and quality metrics will be expected from you. Your skillset should include strong experience in manual testing and automation testing across web and mobile platforms. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar is required. Proficiency in test case creation, test execution, and defect management is essential. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Mantis is necessary. Having a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies is important. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent communication skills are crucial for this role.
