Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to oversee the quality assurance and application testing activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, defining testing strategies, ensuring high-quality software releases, and improving our testing processes. Responsibilities Test Strategy and Planning Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for projects. Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations. Test Execution and Management Oversee the execution of test plans and test cases. Ensure all testing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Monitor test progress and report on test coverage, defects, and risks. Quality Assurance Implement and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards. Ensure compliance with established quality standards and guidelines. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. Automation and Tools Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated testing solutions. Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies. Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites. Collaboration and Communication Facilitate communication between QA, development, and other cross-functional teams. Provide regular updates on QA activities, test progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and code reviews. Experience Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Strong background in both manual and automated testing. Skills Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Tools and Technologies Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Education: B.Tech CSE/B.SC IT/BCA/MCA/M.Sc IT or in any related field. Advanced degree or certifications in QA or testing is a plus.
