Quality Analyst (QA)

Role Overview: You will be working as a Manual Tester at bCoder castle pvt. ltd. in Mohali, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by designing and executing test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, identifying bugs, collaborating with the development team, and maintaining clear test documentation. It is essential to have a detail-oriented approach and strong analytical skills to deliver robust and user-friendly software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to prepare test plans and test cases. - Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and inconsistencies. - Perform manual test execution across web, mobile, and desktop applications. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing. - Maintain clear and concise test documentation. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 3 years of proven experience in manual software testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. - Hands-on experience in preparing and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, or similar). - Good knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Additional Details: The work location is in person, and the job type is full-time. It is beneficial to have exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), basic knowledge of automation testing concepts, and experience with API testing tools like Postman as added advantages.,
