Role Overview

Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth audits of clinical documentation and coding related to surgical procedures and IPDRG
Identify discrepancies and provide feedback to improve data quality and compliance
Collaborate with medical coders, clinicians, and data teams to ensure accurate DRG assignment
Monitor quality metrics and generate reports for internal and client-facing use
Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry best practices

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Analyst role within the healthcare domain
Strong knowledge of surgery coding, IPDRG, and clinical documentation standards
Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and DRG classification systems
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
Experience with hospital information systems and audit tools
Exposure to US healthcare regulations and payer guidelines
