Quality Analyst

Job Title: Soware engineer - Quality Analyst Department: Location: Gurugram Shi: Fixed shi¢ timing Employment Type: Full time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced So¢ware Tester with 35 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, with added advantage if familiar with automated testing. Proficiency in Postman, JIRA, and MySQL. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and create test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. Execute manual testing for APIs, web, and mobile platforms. Validate booking engines, fare calculations, travel rules, and itinerary flows. Perform API testing using Postman including authentication, response validation, and data accuracy. Log and manage defects using JIRA, track progress, and retest resolved issues. Perform database validation using MySQL to ensure data consistency and integrity. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand use cases and deliver high-quality releases. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to QA reporting and test coverage metrics. Required Skills: 35 years of experience in so¢ware testing, with a focus on the travel domain (flights, hotels, transfers, packages). Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman. Experience in defect tracking and agile processes using JIRA. Proficiency in SQL/MySQL for database validation. Ability to understand and test complex booking flows and fare rules. Familiarity with testing tools/frameworks for automation (Selenium, Rest Assured, or similar) is a plus.
