Quality Analyst (Automation)

You will be joining RoboMQ, a leading API and data integration company that focuses on automating critical business processes for improved operational efficiency and customer experience. One of their SaaS products, Hire2Retire, is a lightweight IGA solution that streamlines employee lifecycle management across different systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Google Directory. As a Quality Analyst Automation Engineer at RoboMQ, your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the high-quality delivery of new features and integrations for their API and data platforms. You will be responsible for managing requirements, validating features, supporting UAT, and ensuring a seamless product experience. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases, user stories, specifications, and workflows. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and API testing. - Engage in manual testing for complex or edge-case scenarios as needed, in addition to automation. - Continuously enhance the automation framework by adopting new tools, techniques, and best practices. - Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and validate product features within Jira. - Work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development and testing phases. - Maintain feature development and defect backlogs to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software. - Actively participate in Agile teams by joining daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc. - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with automated test frameworks and their maintenance or improvement. - Strong understanding of testing types: functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: - Experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber, Gherkin. - Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar platforms.,
