Quality Analyst (Automation)

Job Description: As a Software Tester at our company, your role will involve various responsibilities related to software testing. You should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience with a minimum of 2.6+ years of experience in Software Testing. Additionally, you must have at least 1+ years of experience in Web Automation testing using Selenium with Java and 1+ year experience in API Testing using Postman. Experience in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured will be considered a bonus. Your responsibilities will also include Database Testing and working with GitHub. Strong communication/presentation skills, knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology, and a clear understanding of testing concepts are essential. You should be able to independently manage QA responsibilities and evaluate new or modified software programs. Good analytical and logical skills are required, along with experience in monitoring product development and usage for improving product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for Web Automation testing - Perform Functional, Usability, Reliability & Regression testing - Prepare Test Summary, Test Cases, and Assessment Reports - Communicate testing and project status effectively - Stay updated on the latest web testing techniques - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc. - Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective testing strategies and plans - Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle by working with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience - Minimum 2.6+ years of working experience in Software Testing - Minimum 1+ years of experience in Web Automation testing using Selenium with Java - 1+ year experience in API Testing using Postman - Bonus point for experience in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured - Experience in Database Testing - Experience with GitHub - Excellent communication/presentation skills - Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology - Strong testing aptitude with a clear understanding of testing concepts - Ability to manage QA responsibility independently - Knowledge of manual testing tools and techniques - Good analytical and logical skills,
