Quality Analyst

As a member of our team at the leading BNPL player, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of the application, feature, or module that your team is assigned to. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, preparing queries based on those requirements, participating in test planning meetings, and providing valuable feedback to the testing and product teams. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting exploratory testing, simultaneous test design and execution, and writing automation test scripts to facilitate automated regression tests after each software update or release. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 5-7 years of experience in Automation and Manual testing. Proficiency in any software programming language, preferably Java, is essential, as well as expertise in writing and executing test cases and automation scripts. You should also have a good understanding of standard automation frameworks, CI tools like Maven, Jenkins, Github, and related build deployment processes, and hands-on experience in API Testing using tools such as JMeter or Postman. Moreover, your role will require you to work on testing web applications with databases like SQL, MongoDB, or CouchBase, and demonstrate a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. A solid grasp of the SDLC models, particularly Agile and Sprint, will be beneficial in collaborating with the development team to diagnose problems and propose effective solutions.
