As a Quality Control Manager in the construction industry, your role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive quality control plan for construction projects. This includes outlining procedures, inspection points, and quality standards to be followed throughout the project. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting regular inspections and tests on construction materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This includes inspecting concrete pours, steel reinforcements, formwork, and other critical components. - Identifying non-conformances, deficiencies, and deviations from quality standards and documenting them accurately. You will promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among the project team. - Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, industry regulations, and safety standards. You will monitor that all construction activities adhere to legal requirements and permit conditions. - Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure alignment with quality control requirements.
