Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled BI Lead with 10-15 years of experience to oversee our BI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with both Qlik . This role requires a deep understanding of BI tools, data modeling, reporting, and data visualization best practices, as well as the ability to technically lead and mentor a BI development team. Key Responsibilities: Lead BI Projects: Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of business intelligence solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements. Migration Leadership: Lead and manage the migration of reports and dashboards, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption. Qlik Expertise: Provide hands-on expertise in designing and developing complex dashboards and reports in Qlik to meet business needs. Data Integration & Modeling: Design and implement data models, integrating data from multiple sources for reporting and analytics, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, providing technical guidance and supporting their growth. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions. Performance Optimization: Optimize existing BI infrastructure, improving performance, and ensuring data accuracy and security. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing BI processes, recommending and implementing best practices for data governance and reporting. Responsible for presales activities including effort estimation, solution design, and proposal development to support business acquisition and client engagements. Required Skills : 8-10 years of experience in BI development, with expertise in both Qlik Proven experience in migrating BI solutions from Qlik to Power BI. Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration from multiple sources (databases, APIs, etc.). Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query, and advanced Power BI functionalities (e.g., RLS, Power BI Service, Power BI Gateway). Familiarity with Qlik scripting, data connectors, and Qlik Sense/QlikView platform administration. Experience in designing semantic layer and using SQL for querying and reporting. Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance in BI tools. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of managing BI teams and delivering high-impact projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in BI tools. Knowledge of data governance, security (especially in Power BI), and best practices in reporting environments. Certification in Qlik, BI tools will be an added advantage.
