Qlik Developer

Design, develop, and maintain data replication and integration workflows using Qlik Replicate to ensure seamless data movement across heterogeneous systems (on-premises and cloud).

• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration, transformation, and loading into data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to design and maintain robust data warehousing solutions (e.g., Oracle Data Warehouse, SQL Data Warehouse, Redshift or similar)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance by monitoring and tuning Qlik Replicate tasks and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data replication processes, configurations, and data lineage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data replication, connectivity, and performance in real-time data environments.
• Monitors usage of the Data Warehouse to identify potential capacity overloads and bottlenecks
• Leads the tuning of ETL processes & Databases.
• Leads in writing and reviewing software functional specifications and design reviews
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) within replication and warehousing solutions.
• Support data migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate data transfer between systems.
• Stay updated on Qlik Replicate features, data engineering trends, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Qlik Replicate and data engineering best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in Qlik Replicate configuration, task management, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and data processing.
