Responsibilities Developing the test strategy:Devises a comprehensive test strategy outlining the overall approach to test the software application. It encompasses the objectives, scope, test levels, test techniques and resources required for the testing process. Creating the test plan:Prepares a detailed test plan that outlines the test objectives, schedule, deliverables, test environment setup and resource allocation. It serves as a blueprint for the testing activities and ensures that the team follows a structured approach. Designing test scenarios and cases:Create test scenarios and cases that cover all the possible functionalities and requirements of the software application. Ensure that the test cases are comprehensive and effective and adhere to the test strategy. Reviewing test artifacts:Review test artifacts, such as test cases, test scripts and test data, to ensure their quality, consistency and adherence to the test strategy and plan. Test execution:Performs execution of test cases, ensuring that the testing process follows the test plan and that the failures are tracked to closure. Monitor testing progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management. Reporting test results:Consolidate the findings and prepare comprehensive test reports. These reports highlight the defects found, their severity and the overall quality of the software application. Tracking defects and ensuring resolution:Track and manage defects using a defect tracking system. Liaise with developers to resolve defects promptly. Evaluating and improving the testing process:Assess the effectiveness of the testing process, identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing activities. Test automation:Automate repetitive testing tasks, to increase efficiency and accuracy. This includes selection of right tools, creating automated test scripts, and maintaining the test automation framework. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-9 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. 3+ years of experience into data analytics projects Strong Knowledge of the Data visualization tools Tableau Or BI Strong learning and comprehension of SQL and capacity to write SQL Queries. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, including but not limited to Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate testing processes and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Must have strong English language skills and be comfortable conversing in English. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of testers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exposure to ALM tool Software Development Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle, Bug Life cycle Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) and Automated Testing Tools are a plus. Named Job Posting?
