QE Automation Engineer

As a QE Automation Engineer at Persistent Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by designing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and executing UI Automated, API automated, and load automated test cases based on requirements - Analyzing reports, identifying issues, and raising them for resolution - Generating and setting up test data to support tests and managing dynamically for regression tests - Running automated execution suites and generating automated reports The expertise you are expected to bring to this role includes: - Hands-on experience in test tools/languages such as Automation: Python, UI Automation: Selenium, API: Postman, Pytest, Load Test: K6 or equivalent, CI/CD: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git; working knowledge of Linux environment - Experience in API, Web, and Batch automation testing using Frameworks - Ability to operate in an Agile, CI/CD-enabled environment using Git, Jenkins, and contribute to the CI/CD pipeline - Good understanding of software testing methods - Experience with automating non-functional requirements such as usability, accessibility, and multi-lingual is an additional advantage - Understanding of Banking/Financial Services domain is an added advantage - Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and effective communication skills - Keen eye for detail, organized, and diligent in follow-through In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, Persistent Ltd. offers a culture focused on talent development with growth opportunities, company-sponsored higher education, and certifications.
