QC / TEST ENGINEER (AUTOMATION)

Test Automation Development : Design and develop automated test scripts using automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies. Create reusable and maintainable automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing. Test Planning and Strategy : Collaborate with the testing team to plan, design, and prioritize automated test cases based on requirements and application functionality. Define automation strategies for various stages of the software development lifecycle. Execution and Analysis : Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues using bug - tracking systems. Integration and Continuous Improvement : Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless integration and deployment. Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage. Collaboration and Documentation : Collaborate with cross - functional teams, including developers and QA analysts, to ensure test coverage and resolve issues. Document automation processes, test results, and best practices. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e. g. , Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc. ). Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages used for automation. Experience in creating and maintaining automated test suites for web, mobile, or desktop applications. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and agile methodologies. Analytical mindset and problem - solving skills to troubleshoot and debug automated test scripts. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
