Job Description

Role & responsibilities

ensures product and service quality by implementing and monitoring quality control processes, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and customer complaints

  • Conduct inspections and tests:

    Perform routine quality inspections and tests on products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet specified standards and customer expectations.
  • Implement quality control procedures:

    Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems and protocols throughout the production process.
  • Manage documentation:

    Create and maintain detailed records of inspections, quality tests, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Address non-conformance:

    Investigate identified defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with teams to implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance:

    Verify adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards (such as ISO), and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with teams:

    Work with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
  • Train and guide staff:

    Educate and train employees on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze performance:

    Track quality metrics, monitor product and process performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage customer feedback:

    Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically required.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in a quality control or similar role.
  • Technical knowledge:

    Strong understanding of quality control standards, procedures, and quality management systems.
  • Analytical skills:

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Attention to detail:

    A keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately identify defects and deviations.
  • Communication skills:

    Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate and report findings.
  • Teamwork:

    The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
