QC Chemist

Organisation is leading manufacturing of Chemical Ink Manufacturing Industry and Printing Industry Located at Changodar, Ahmedabad.

Required Education & Experience:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with min 2–5 years of experience in a QC laboratory, preferably in chemical emulsion, paint, polymer, or surfactant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per standard specifications.
• Perform physical and chemical analysis — such as pH, viscosity, solid content, density, stability, and appearance.
• Prepare and standardize laboratory reagents and solutions.
• Maintain test records, COA (Certificate of Analysis), and laboratory documentation accurately.
• Ensure proper sampling procedures and maintain batch traceability.
• Report any deviations or non-conformities to the QC Head and support root cause analysis.
• Calibrate and maintain all laboratory instruments (e.g., pH meter, viscometer, balance, etc.) regularly.
• Support production teams in process control and troubleshooting during manufacturing.
• Monitor and maintain retained sample inventory for each batch.
• Follow ISO / GMP / safety protocols and ensure housekeeping in the QC lab.
• Assist in developing and updating SOPs and quality standards for new or existing products.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of chemical emulsion formulations (e.g., polymer emulsions, surfactant systems, coatings, or specialty chemicals).
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments (pH meter, viscometer, moisture analyzer, spectrophotometer, etc.).
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and safety practices.
• Good observation and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret analytical data and communicate results effectively.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, report entry).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
