QC Analyst

Job Summary:

The Jewellery QC Executive is responsible for ensuring all jewellery pieces meet the company's quality standards and specifications before they are released for sale or delivery. The role involves inspecting jewellery for defects, verifying weights and measurements, and ensuring adherence to design and manufacturing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished jewellery items (gold, diamond, silver, etc.) for quality, craftsmanship, and adherence to design specifications.
• Check for defects such as scratches, loose stones, poor setting, improper finishing, and structural flaws.
• Measure and verify dimensions, weights, and stone quality using appropriate tools .
• Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure that all jewellery items comply with regulatory and company standards (e.g., hallmarking, certifications).
• Approve or reject items based on inspection outcomes.
• Assist in developing quality control processes and standards.
• Monitor packaging and labelling accuracy before dispatch.
• Train or support junior staff in quality standards and inspection techniques when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in jewellery quality control or production .
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• In-depth knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with various jewellery types (gold, silver, diamond, precious stones).
