**Job Title:** QA/QC Electrical Inspector (Solar Projects)

**Job Overview:**

The QA/QC Electrical Inspector in Solar Projects plays a vital role in ensuring the electrical components and systems in solar projects meet quality and safety standards. This position involves inspecting, testing, and verifying electrical installations and equipment within the context of solar energy projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Quality Control Inspections:**

- Perform detailed inspections of electrical components and systems in solar projects, including solar panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical connections.

- Verify compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and industry standards.

2. **Documentation and Reporting:**

- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and compliance findings.

- Generate and distribute detailed inspection reports to project teams and management.

- Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and areas requiring improvement.

3. **Regulatory Compliance:**

- Ensure that all electrical installations in solar projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as relevant codes and standards.

- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and conduct necessary inspections and audits.

4. **Supplier and Vendor Evaluation:**

- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain quality standards for electrical components and equipment.

- Conduct assessments of suppliers to ensure that products meet quality criteria.

5. **Testing and Performance Analysis:**

- Oversee and participate in electrical performance testing of solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment.

- Analyze test data to assess efficiency, durability, and overall performance.

6. **Safety and Compliance:**

- Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.

- Promote a safe working environment and report safety concerns promptly.

7. **Problem Resolution:**

- Investigate and address electrical quality-related issues and discrepancies.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders and contractors to implement corrective and preventive actions.

**Qualifications:**

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in electrical inspections, particularly in solar or renewable energy projects.

- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and industry regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough inspections.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
