QA & Testing Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: You have an exciting opportunity as a QA & Testing Engineer at Corporate Bank Security Services Technology in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and managing testing strategies, plans, and deliverables related to testing within specific applications and programmes on a global basis. You will work alongside project and programme stakeholders to ensure progress, manage dependencies, and contribute to ongoing improvement methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure adherence to the Banks" standard QA and Testing processes throughout the SDLC for each release - Identify and manage cross-project and program dependencies - Lead the test automation strategy for a program - Specialize in Automation testing with experience in Web Applications, middleware/backend service-based applications, Usability, Functional, and Browser Compatibility testing - Contribute towards Agile test methodology and Non-functional testing including Load and Performance testing - Manage defect management process, tools, and provide appropriate Test reports - Liaise with the DevOps team for effective testing - Communicate effectively with stakeholders - Identify automation areas and provide a roadmap for automation - Build automated Regression Testing capability - Participate in the broader QA and Testing community activities - Drive customer-focused approach and deliver fit for purpose business functionality - Coach direct reports and support business strategy - Act as a role model for new employees Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in QA & Testing, with a minimum of 3 years in Investment Banking - Knowledge of QA & Testing industry best practices and tools like Jira and ALM/QC - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Rest Assured, Gherkin, Cucumber, Jenkins - Working knowledge of Java - Experience in Functional Analysis and SQL - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Proven ability to deliver results in matrixed organizations under pressure Additional Company Details: The company strives for a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
