QA & Testing Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: As a QA & Testing Engineer at the Corporate Bank Security Services Technology in Pune, India, you will have an exciting opportunity to utilize your QA & Testing management skills in a highly visible project/programme level role. Your responsibilities will include defining and managing testing strategies, plans, and deliverables related to testing within specific applications and programmes on a global basis. You will also drive the adoption of best practices, contribute to methodology improvement, and be accountable for the functional and non-functional testing of one or more applications. Working alongside project and programme stakeholders, you will ensure work progress, manage dependencies, and provide guidance on QA & Testing. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure project/program adherence to the Banks standard QA and Testing processes throughout the SDLC for each release - Identify and manage cross-project and program dependencies early - Lead the test automation strategy for a program - Specialize in Automation testing, Web Applications Automation Testing, middleware/backend service-based application Testing, Usability, Functional and Browser Compatibility testing - Contribute towards Agile test methodology and Non-functional testing including Load and Performance testing - Manage defect management process, tools, and Test reports effectively - Collaborate with the DevOps team for efficient testing - Demonstrate strong communication skills and stakeholder management - Identify automation areas and provide a roadmap for further progress - Develop automated Regression Testing capability - Participate in the broader QA and Testing community activities - Drive a customer-focused approach to delivering business functionality - Coach direct reports and support the business strategy - Act as a role model for new employees Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in QA & Testing, with at least 3 years in Investment Banking - Proficiency in QA & Testing best practices and tools such as Jira and ALM/QC - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, Protractor, Rest Assured, Gherkin, Cucumber, Jenkins - Working knowledge of Java - Experience in Functional Analysis and SQL - Ability to define and implement program-level test strategies - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Track record of delivering results in matrixed organizations under pressure Additional Details: The company, Deutsche Bank, fosters a culture of empowerment, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
