Who you are: Passionate about testing for e-commerce platform. Mobile app and ERP to support our rapidly growing DTC and B2B business. As the tester, you shall be able to prepare and execute test cases, understand the requirements, build automate test cases, logical and rational thinking to testing in systematic and structured manner, and collaborate with other team members offering ideas and best practices. You need to keep up with fast paced changes in terms of newer testing frameworks, security and maintenance. Most importantly, this role is for someone who is hands-on, passionate, loves problem-solving, quick learner and wants to have a major impact on our success. Role & Responsibilities: Understanding and reviewing requirements- understand, review all the requirements and proceed with the necessary steps. Creating the test cases- After understanding the requirements, creating test cases. Test Documentation- Maintain the test cases, test plans, and test scripts to inspect and remove errors. Test Execution- Executing the test cases equally is an integral part of software testing. Testers can assess if the software product is free from defects, performs accurately, or needs improvement. Reporting Defects- Report the defects to the developers with proper documentation and details to help remove them. Collaborating with Developers- To ensure a smooth, closely and effortless with developers and managers. So, they can verify the issues and resolve them instantly Has familiarity with functional testing methods included but not limited to Black-Box, White-Box, Unit, Integration, System, Regression & Acceptance testing Working knowledge of Non-Functional Testing including performance, security, usability, compatibility testing. Job Qualifications: Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college or equivalent work experience desired At least 2+ years of experience with e-commerce website. Mobile apps and ERP Ensuring the finished product is dependable, stable and easy to use is known as quality assurance. Working closely with developers to comprehend requirements, validate fixes, communicate defects and for delivering a stable, scalable and robust products Finding recurring problems and making suggestions for fixes to help the software development process get better. Expertise in automation testing, know the procedures of CI/CD and continuous integration that help speed up and enhance software deployment reliability. Knowledge of best practices for web performance, security, data privacy and usability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Staying Up-to-Date with New Technologies and Methodologies Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as well ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Location This role will be based in our Ahmedabad office.
