Who you are: Passionate about software development for e-commerce platforms to support our rapidly growing DTC business. As the PHP software Developer, you will provide technical expertise in the analysis, design, and implementation of systems software; write technical documentation, and collaborate with other team members offering ideas and best practices. You need to keep up with fast paced changes in terms of coding, newer technology, frameworks, security and maintenance. Most importantly, this role is for someone who is hands-on, an idea-generator, passionate, loves problem-solving, quick learner and wants to have a major impact on our success. Role & Responsibilities: Develop and optimize high-quality, mobile-first responsive web applications. Write efficient, testable, and reusable code by using software development best practices. Use a range of technologies and frameworks including: Codeigniter/Laravel, HTML5, CSS, PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript Follow best practice and coding standards and Keep up-to-date with industry trends. Work in close consultation with colleagues and other team members to ensure a close partnership between the two disciplines Integration with third-party API and payment gateways. Job Qualifications: Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college or equivalent work experience desired At least 1.5 years of experience with the following technology: Codeigniter/Laravel, HTML5, CSS, PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript Extensive knowledge and experience w/programming PHP 5.6+ Experience with relational database technology and working knowledge of MySQL Familiar with testing, continuous integration and deployment process A strong track record of building and maintaining robust, responsive software solutions Knowledge of best practices for web performance, security, data privacy and usability An understanding of server architecture, and cloud-based hosting solutions The capacity to translate technical jargon into a digestible format for non-technical team members Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as well ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Location This role will be based in our Ahmedabad office.
