QA Tester

As a meticulous QA Tester joining the IT team, your role will involve ensuring the performance and quality of e-commerce applications through manual and automation testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, executing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts. - Detecting, reporting, and tracking software defects using issue-tracking tools. - Performing functional, regression, performance, and UI testing on web and mobile applications. - Understanding project requirements and designing test scenarios accordingly. - Collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and designers to enhance application quality. - Verifying data integrity and backend processes using SQL queries. - Identifying performance bottlenecks and security loopholes in applications. - Maintaining proper testing documentation, reports, and guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Experience in web application testing, including cross-browser testing. - Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or Postman. - Knowledge of SQL queries for backend validation. - Understanding of SDLC & STLC methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
